What is Wholeself Care?
Wholeself care is just what it sounds like; caring for your entire self including your physical, social, internal / emotional, and spiritual selves. The ideals of whole self-care include caring for all parts of yourself in the present while giving consistent consideration for your future self at the same time. Wholeself care also includes having a commitment to building your ability to take care of yourself, while cultivating your awareness of where and when you have the agency to take care of yourself.
In practice, wholeself care includes making choices that balance taking care of your physical, mental, social, and spiritual parts of yourself in the present while also considering the future impact of your decisions. This practice can feel like you are arbitrating between two different people, even though you are only making decisions for yourself. It can be a balancing act!

I liked all the illustrations and how everything was explained in detail with a child in mind as the reader. I recommend reading this with one's child as it can be a bonding experience. It could help to cope with emotions and understand one's child's behavior. It provides activities that help children learn as they read.”
